 TWENTY THINGS TO REMEMBER

1. Faith is the ability to not panic.

2. If you worry, you didn't pray. If you prayed, don't worry.

3. As a child of God, prayer is kinda like calling home every
day.

4. Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of
shape.

5. When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants
us to be still so He can untangle the knot.

6. Do the math. Count your blessings.

7. God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.

8. Dear God: I have a problem. It's me.

9. Silence is often misinterpreted, but never misquoted.

10. Laugh every day - it's like inner jogging.

11. The most important things in your home are the people.

12. Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.
(Preach it!)

13. There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.
Come on in.

14. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.

15. He who dies with the most toys is still dead.

16. We do not remember days but moments. Life moves too fast so
enjoy your precious moments.

17. Nothing is real to you until you experience it; otherwise
it's just hearsay.

18. It's all right to sit on your pity pot every now and again.
Just be sure to flush when you are done.

19. Surviving and living your life successfully requires
courage. The goals and dreams you're seeking require courage
and risk-taking. Learn from the turtle, it only makes progress
when it sticks out its neck.

20. Be more concerned with your character than your reputation.
Your character is what you really are, while your reputation
is merely what others think you are. No matter the storm,
when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
Leave gentle fingerprints on the soul of another for the
angels to read. I don't want to get to the end of my life
and find that I lived just the length of it. I want to have
lived the width of it as well.

 The Move

In order for God to take you to another place,
He must first move you from where you are.

The move often seems like disaster,
but it's only the creaking and groaning of a reluctant door.

 Prayer of Thanx

Dear GOD:
I want to thank You for what you have already done. I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me; I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears ; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves; I am going to thank you right now.

I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job; I am going to thank you right now.

I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief; I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed; I am thanking you right now. I am thanking you because I am alive.

I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles .............

I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do better.

I'm thanking you because FATHER, YOU haven't given up on me.

 Title-less

Influence - when our course is controlled by God, we will soar to heights we never imagined.

easy, but He did promise you would never be alone.

Prospective - remember: you are in the driver's seat but God holds the
map.

Strength - God gives us the ability to soar beyond our problems to our
possibilities.

Character - character is who we are when no one but God is watching.

Conviction - be certain your feet are planted in the right place before you decide to stand firm.

Challenge - adventures begin when we dare to do the impossible with God.

Victory - believe you can and you're halfway there, believe God can and the race is won.

Promise - only God knows what is beyond the horizon: leave it in His
hands.

Faith - faith is holding on to God's dreams...and finding your own
fulfilled.

Guidance - real peace comes from knowing the God who holds your future in His hands.

Commitment - no destination is beyond the reach of one who can walk with God.

Wisdom - experience can make a persons knowledgeable, but only God can
make him wise.

Trust - tomorrow's challenges are already on God's agenda.

Perseverance - doubt builds a mountain...faith removes it.

Courage - the unknown holds no fence for those who follow God.

Power - when we tap into God's eternal power, our resources are unlimited.

Patience - God sometimes moves mountains one pebble at a time.

Direction - the only difference between stumbling blocks and stepping
stones is how you use them.

Discipline - excellence is not a gift given, but a skill perfected.

"Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for you will never go any higher than you think." (Benjamin Disraeli)

 GOD SAID 'NO'

I asked God to take away my habit.
God said, No.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary

I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, No.
Patience is a byproduct of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, No.
I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares
and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, No.
You must grow on your own! ,
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, No.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves
me.
God said...Ahhhh, finally you have the idea
