Often, when the time comes to do the "right thing," we really don't feel like doing it. We usually do without prompting the things that we feel like doing.
I always feel like eating something sweet, but I need prompting and knowledge for that raw salad.
We all do NOT feel like doing the right things at times.
It is the constant battle between heart and flesh. Between others' needs and our wants. Between instant gratification and disciplined development. Between doing what's right and what feels really good right now.
That's the battle.
That's also the mission.

Isn't it strange how a 20 dollar bill seems like such a
large amount when you donate it to church, but such a small amount when you go shopping?
Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you're at church, and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie?
Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say when you're praying, but you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with a friend?
Isn't it strange how difficult and boring it is to read one chapter of the Bible, but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel or ZANE GREY book?
Isn't it strange how everyone wants front-row-tickets to concerts or games, but they do whatever is possible to sit at the last row in Church?
Isn't it strange how we need to know about an event for Church 2-3 weeks before the day so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust it for other events in the last minute?
Isn't it strange how difficult it is to learn a fact about God to share it with others, but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip?
Isn't it strange how we believe everything that magazines and newspapers say, but we question the words in the Bible?
Isn't it strange how everyone wants a place in heaven, but they don't want to believe, do, or say anything to get there?

A young man was at the end of his rope, Seeing no way out, he dropped to his knees in prayer "Lord, I can't go on," he said. "I have too heavy a cross to bear." The Lord replied, "My son,If you can't bear its weight, Just place your cross inside this room. Then, open that other door And pick out any cross you wish."
The man was filled with relief and said, "Thank you Lord," and he did As he was told.
Upon entering the Other room, he saw many crosses; Some so large the tops were not visible. Then, he spotted a tiny cross leaning against a far wall.
"I'd like that one, Lord," he whispered.
The Lord replied, "My son, that is the cross you just brought in."
When life's problems seem overwhelming, It helps To look around and see What other people are coping with. You may consider yourself Far more fortunate than you imagined.
YOUR CROSS
Whatever your cross Whatever your pain There will always be sunshine After the rain
Perhaps you may stumble Perhaps even fall But God's always there To help you through it all

DNR is a medical term that means "Do not resuscitate." It is a medical instruction left that means when someone is critically ill and if they should stop breathing, don't try to bring them back to life into the pain, let them go.
Some things are like that. If you don't comment, delete it, and let it go, it will die and not return.
Listen to the wisdom in your next situation when someone really rankles you,
Listen.
Do you hear?
"Do not comment, delete this now, and let it go."
DNR
