I have been a Guarantor (Surety) for my friend who a taken huge
amount of loan and he is not able to repay the loan.

Now bank people are harassing me to pay and close the loan so
please pray that I come out of this difficult situation and the
loan is closed totally.

Someone needs to hear and heed this advice NOW!

I've counseled many who got in trouble co-signing loans because
the person would not or could not pay the loan. It happens more
times than you can imagine.

Don't co-sign on any loan that you are not comfortable with
paying back yourself.

The Bible says about co-signing:
(1) My child, if you co-sign a loan for a friend or guarantee the
debt of someone you hardly know
{2} if you have trapped yourself by your agreement and are caught
by what you said
{3} quick, get out of it if you possibly can! You have placed
yourself at your friend's mercy. Now swallow your pride; go and
beg to have your name erased.
{4} Don't put it off. Do it now! Don't rest until you do.
{5} Save yourself like a deer escaping from a hunter, like a bird
fleeing from a net.
(Prov 6:1-5 NLT)

Take heed!

Don't co-sign for any loan UNLESS you are ABLE and WILLING to
pay it back yourself.

And don't lend anyone your rent money on a promise that they
will pay you back before your rent is due.
